Win $2000 by being creative during quarantine

Getty Images is looking to award 10 creatives $2,000 (USD) each. Whether you’re a photographer, illustrator, filmmaker or artist, this competition is open to a broad range of creatives across the spectrum.

All you have to do is submit a body of work that has been created during quarantine, alongside a 200-500 word summary detailing your thinking behind the project. All proposals must be written in English.

Apply for Kind Studio’s 3-month long mentoring scheme

Kind Studio: Outset
Are you a graphic design and communications student? If so, Kind Studio has launched a mentoring programme called Outset to help you with your final year of studies.

Since this isn’t a normal end to an academic year, Kind Studio appreciates that students need as much help as they can get right now. Because of this, they are offering portfolio reviews, insight into industry and much more through the scheme.

Create Jobs’ 5-week programme for diverse creative entrepreneurs

Create Jobs: Future Startup Now Founders
Do you have a creative idea that needs to be told to the world? Create Jobs are offering a five-week programme to help diverse creative entrepreneurs take their idea to the next level.

During the five weeks, you’ll work with a range of experts to help guide your plans. At the end of the programme, you’ll be offered the chance to pitch your idea to a panel of judges and potentially receive £5,000 of kit to help your business off the ground. Find out more here.

Feeling joyful? Two creative commissions up for grabs from Maia Group

Maia Group: Commission
Maia Group is an artist-led cultural organisation who invest in change and futures, based in Birmingham. They’re currently seeking two remote talented creatives to commission for a new project they’re working on – one that centres around the theme of ‘Joy.’

You can work on your response from June 2020 up until December 2020. Put yourself forward and earn £500 for the commission itself here.
