Digital marketing internship in Reading

Berkshire-based brand design agency ClearBrand are looking for a digital marketing intern to join them for a one month internship course. The opportunity exists to support local students and recent graduates, so you must be within a 30-mile radius from Reading.

Free online Summer School from YCN

Running until early September, YCN are hosting a series of free, industry-led, virtual sessions to help students and graduates develop relevant, timely skills as they ready themselves for the world of work.

Upcoming sessions cover topics including networking, owning feedback, self-promotion and more. All you have to do is register to apply here.

Mentorship programme with CMN, ScreenSkills and the BFI

Interested in film, TV, gaming, animation or visual Effects? The brilliant Creative Mentor Network, in partnership with ScreenSkills, are offering a 12-month mentor programme as part of the BFI Future Film Skills project.

They’re looking for creatives aged between 18-27 who have attended a state school and are looking for career support.

BAME Community Grants from The Film and TV Charity

The Film and TV Charity have set up a new community grant scheme designed to promote peer-to-peer support and build community networks for Black, Asian and minority ethnic colleagues.

Grants of up to £3,500 are available for work that focuses on a range of topics. Applications close at 5pm on Friday 28th August, so be sure to throw your hat in the ring and apply. Read through the criteria and find out more here.

Creative AR brief from Snapchat

Snap Inc, in partnership with Talenthouse, have launched a new creative brief to identify the most innovative AR creators out there.

They are inviting you to create and publish a world-facing AR Lens that reflects your creativity and brings joy to people around the globe. Snap will then select 15 creators to receive $2,000 USD each based on creativity, originality, and quality of their AR project.

Illustrator and designer Lisa Maltby has written a course aimed to make launching a creative business far less daunting. Whether you need to learn how to build connections or price your work, this course covers all the behind-the-scenes stuff it takes to become a successful illustrator.
